The only thing that Kara wanted to find was fame... until the night that her quest lead to a few thugs and the destruction of her family. Now she relentlessly searches for the people who destroyed them. It's been seven years and she has not found even a single clue to their whereabouts... until she runs into someone who just won't leave her alone; someone who insists he knows the reason why nobody will speak to her, treating her instead as if she were a beggar needing to disappear.
She is desperate for information. Even though she doesn't like him, she decides to hear him out and follow him in hopes of some clue to bring her closer to the monstrous killers from whom she had once run. She isn't prepared for the places that he will take her, or the secrets of her life that he uncovers along the way. Secrets that even she hasn't discovered.

Her parents were viciously murdered when she was just a child- leaving a horrendous mental scar on her mind. Nicole has since learned that many people have the same type of scar, although it isn't really a scar at all. With so much mental energy being ripped from her at such a young age, Nicole had to adapt to survive. She began feeding on the mental energy of other people to sate the ever-deepening vacuum of her own turmoil.

Now, she moves from place to place, ever afraid that they will find her and catch her. After taking a lover that she feels she has fallen for, she errs on her judgement of time and those hunting her finally catch up with her.
​
Only they do not want to harm her. They want to recruit her, believing that she is the only thing that can save them from murderous sanguine that are building a massive army to wipe out cities.

With great reluctance, Nicole must face her past in order to secure the world a future.
The Salamander's Curse

The Nymph's Forest burned to the ground while they watched. They did not move to help put out the fire and they certainly did nothing to prevent it. Salamander's were lovers of the flame and laughter was everything to them. Thinking everything a game all the time, they never stopped to see how much it pained others. Now, they were the cause of the expulsion. Every nymph, every salamander, every creature that was a part of the Nymph's Forest of Solum had found themselves flung by magic into a realm known as Creta.

Magic is not known to this world. Out of fear and misunderstanding, the people of this world attacked and killed any who openly displayed their magic. Few were sympathetic and helped hide and care for the creatures they could. But the slaughter of their kin and the sickness for their home caused hatred to flare for the Salamander's. These heartless creatures were hunted to near extinction by the Naiads who lived in the Nymph's Forest. They were unforgiving.

Maera, would have killed any she ran across as well, until a dream from the gods stills her hand. She finds herself unexpectedly flung into a companionship with a Salamander while they both search for a way to return to their world and restore their home to life.
The Divines: Pillars of Countenance

There hasn't been a perfect coven in many generations. One child to harnass and represent each of the thirteen elements to protect their home and their world. In a land where magic is everything, magic is slowly dying. The volatile purple mists that cover the land, causing searing pain to any who are unlucky enough to touch it; and any who are unlucky enough to get swallowed by it, never return.

It is the final initiation ceremony of the remaining coven members for the new coven. During the ceremony, the representive for Divine Night, falls asleep. Here, she is greeted by her deity who has foreboding news for the new coven. Wake-up and flee, or die.

Huntress: The Thrall

Aaija is a Fledgling Huntress. She is sent on a mission to make her first kill. Normally, any large animal would suffice, but Aaija finds herself trapped in the forest with vampire hunters. After an encounter that nearly costs her life, Aaija finds herself face to face with a young teenage girl. To prevent her from screaming, she does the one thing that vampires are forbidden to do: she talks to her. When calming her verbally doesn't work, she forces the girls eyes to lock with hers and touches the girl long enough to exert all mental influence over her.

She is not prepared for the experience that greets her. Now she must find her way out of this forest before the humans find her... and her new thrall follows soundlessly behind her.
